Magellan Offers First Flight Guarantee on Jet Cards
During the first quarter of 2025, private aviation provider Magellan Jets is offering to provide new jet card clients with additional peace of mind.
New clients who purchase and fund a jet card by March 31st, 2025 and complete their first flight within 30 days of funding their jet card, will have the ability to request a refund for the remaining portion of their jet card funds if anything about their first flight is less than perfect.
Magellan Jet Cards
Magellan offers two types of jet card. Their premium offering is aircraft specific with three jet types, the Phenom 300 light jet, Challenger 300/350 super-mid, or Gulfstream G450/550 large cabin. This offering has shorter call-out times during peak periods, 20 advanced booking days per year and all-inclusive pricing, that includes fuel, catering and de-icing. Pricing starts at $9,375 per hour excluding FET on the Phenom 300 and including fuel, catering, de-icing and with a 1 hour daily minimum flight time.
The second option offers category specific cards in light, midsize, super-mid, and heavy Jet categories. There are 40 advanced booking days per year and the standard call-out notice is 48 hours. Pricing starts at $7,287 per hour for light jets including fuel, but excluding FET.
Both jet card solutions include 365-day guaranteed availability with no blackout dates, offer the ability to utilize multiple aircraft on the same day and both offer 10% round trip discounts.
First Flight Guarantee
Magellan has a few simple terms for its refund guarantee. In particular, the refund must be requested within 5 business days after the completed flight. The refund will include all remaining jet card funds after the first flight. This new offer cannot be combined with any other offers and is not available to existing jet card holders or for renewals.
The aircraft are all sourced from the Magellan Jets Preferred Network. This is made up of operators who have been vetted by the in house aircraft sourcing and flight support teams. Then before every flight Magellan carries out a 42 point checklist with background checks, safety checks and vetting of the flight crew performing the mission.
