Jet OUT Co-Ownership Launches in Scottsdale

Jet OUT is expanding to Arizona with its third regional base opening at Scottsdale Airport. The private aviation company offers co-ownership, essentially fractional jet ownership, and lease programs. Both programs encourage day-based usage of the Citation CJ4 Gen2 light jets.

Operations began in Scottsdale in early May, with the facility expected to reach full capabilities by late summer. Jet OUT’s Scottsdale team will comprise 14 locally based employees, including pilots, maintenance professionals, customer service personnel, and sales representatives. The 3,000-square-foot facility will feature a private customer lounge, a dedicated sales office, and an on-site line maintenance base to support local operations.

Jet OUT plans to have two brand new Citation CJ4 Gen2s in Scottsdale, enabling service for up to 16 owners per aircraft.

The other two base locations are in Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Milwaukee’s Mitchell International Airport.

CJ4 Programs

The company offers two core programs – “Co-Ownership” and “Co-Lease”. Both options provide 20 flying days per share, per year, with terms ranging from one to five years. The Scottsdale launch will also introduce a new product called "Co-Lease 10", a 12-month program that offers 10 annual flying days, designed to make private aviation more accessible with a reduced commitment - it's essentially the Jet OUT answer to a private jet card.

“Expanding to Scottsdale is a natural next step as we continue to grow,” said Joseph Crivello, CEO of Jet OUT. “We are excited to bring Jet OUT’s unique local-national fleet to a new market, while enhancing access and service for our existing owners and clients. By unifying a national network of regional bases, we can provide our clients the operational benefits of home-basing their aircraft, without sacrificing the program benefits and sophistication that only a national operator can offer.”

As an example of pricing, Jet OUT says that for 50 occupied hours per year, over 20 days of Co-Lease access, the all-in cost averages $7,040 per occupied hour.

Or for the fractional, co-ownership, in a 5-year agreement, the initial 1/16th purchase price is $887,000, with a monthly management fee of $6,900 and an all-inclusive hourly occupied rate of $2,200. This provides 20 days of use per year, over each of the five years. More details on the Jet OUT model can be found in this earlier article, where we interviewed CEO Joe Crivello.

Both programs are ideal for those who want to make multiple stops in a day or fly frequently from, or to, one of the Jet OUT bases in the network.
