The luxury reciprocal travel club 3RD HOME, has announced an affiliation with the Ritz-Carlton Destination Club. This relationship will allow the members of both of these clubs to expand their luxury travel options and use the properties in the other club.

3RD HOME members will now be able to exchange time in their homes to visit the Ritz-Carlton Destination Club's six destinations across the United States and the Caribbean. The Ritz destinations include Aspen Highlands, CO, Jupiter, FL, Lake Tahoe, CA, San Francisco, CA, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Vail, CO. Similarly, the Ritz-Carlton Destination Club Members will gain access to the over 2000 properties in 70 countries that are part of the 3RD HOME portfolio. These homes have an average value of $2.3 million per home and a portfolio value of over $5 billion.

While most of the 3RD HOME properties are spacious stand alone homes, there are also several luxury resorts and residence clubs which are affiliates. These include Calistoga Ranch, Napa Valley CA, Deer Valley Club, Deer Valley UT, One Ski Hill Place, Breckenridge CO, Esperanza , Cabo san Lucas Mexico, Tucker's Point, Bermuda.
Steve Zacks, CMO of 3RD HOME, shared with the SherpaReport that even before the announcement, 3RD HOME was experiencing significant year over year growth in memberships and reservations. Towards the end of last year the club reported having 1,600 homes in its portfolio and has already grown this to over 2,000. He added "The launch of 3RD HOME's affiliation with The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club just two weeks ago has already augmented this trend."
