There are thousands of vacation homes spread around the areas 1,600 lakes. Touchstone is a new vacation home community offering one quarter fractional ownerships. ![Touchstone Muskoka Cascades](https://www.sherpareport.com/images/stories/destclubs/AK/Muskoka-cascades-500.jpg) The cottages and villas at Touchstone come in a variety of configurations from 2 bedroom to 4 bedrooms. **Grand Muskokan Cottages** 3 or 4 bedroom cottages have walk-out access to the beautiful white sand beach and are between 2,100 to 2,800 sq ft. All are fully furnished with Muskoka-inspired interiors, large decks, seasonal Muskoka Rooms and rough-hewn stone. Owners have spacious gourmet kitchens and wide-open living spaces to entertain family and friends. **The Cascades & Tree Top Villas.** Located on the top of a tree-lined promontory, these buildings are designed to appear as elegant Muskoka cottages, cascading above and over a rocky perch. These spacious, casually elegant villas offer two and three bedroom combinations. Each is uniquely designed, and offers panoramic views of one of Canada's most spectacular settings. Generous terraces and Muskoka Rooms are the ideal vantage points to revel in the splendor of crimson sunsets. Some of the villas have private hot tubs all have BBQ’s on the balcony. **Year Round Amenities** In the summer months, there's boating, sailing, biking, tennis, golf, swimming in the lake or in the infinity pool. Crisp fall mornings and warm afternoons are perfect for hikes, bicycle rides and boating through stunning colored foliage that sightseers drive for miles to experience every year. In the winter months, Touchstone is only a short drive away from some of Ontario's finest downhill and cross-country trails and skating is always an option. The [Touchstone](http://touchstoneonlakemuskoka.com) fitness center, spa, and restaurant provide further amenities and the concierge is available to coordinate any activities. **Quarter Shares** Each quarter fraction is allocated 13 weeks per year. The peak months of July and August are divided into four two-week fractions. Each fraction purchased represents one of these two-week periods. Owners can exchange some of their time through Resort to Resort and there is also an optional rental management program. The developer has arranged first mortgage financing through HSBC. Purchasers can borrow up to 65% of their vacation home price.
