Description:

The Residences Island Gardens Miami, a Yachting Resort, is a private residence club offering the full benefits of luxury vacation ownership at a small portion of the full ownership cost. With abundant and flexible usage, these luxury residences ideally situated on a never-developed 10-plus-acre portion of Watson Island – a pristine, diamond-shaped emerald in Biscayne Bay.

Upon completion in 2011, The Residences will include 98 fractional residences, ranging from 950 to 3,700 square feet, that come fully furnished and designed by world-renowned architect Piero Lissoni. Luxury one- to four-bedroom spacious residences will feature European-designed kitchens, imported stone floors and floor-to-ceiling impact-resistant windows that open to deep terraces, extending the living space.

Purchasing a residence at Island Gardens includes a 1/8 deeded fractional ownership in a luxury residence, which allows for 45 days of use annually. Depending on the ownership type purchased, you will have two to six days of fractional ownership in Island Garden’s three-cabin luxury yacht, which will be docked at the 50-slip Super-Yacht Harbour, the only location in North America designed for mega-yachts in excess of 400 feet.

The Residences is the first private residence club in the U.S. to be managed and serviced by Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. Owners receive privileged access to Chi, The Spa; a private residence pool; private lounge areas; full butler service; around-the-clock concierge; and chauffeur service with the club’s fleet of luxury sedans. Also, daily housekeeping; pre-arrival grocery shopping; delivery, unpacking and setup of belongings prior to arrival; and packing and storing of personal belongings in a secure, climate-controlled environment upon departure are other premiere services offered to owners.

Although there will be little need to leave the community once you arrive – as the overall Island Gardens development will feature an upscale business/resort hotel and spa, 60 high-end retail boutiques, 18 waterfront world-class dining, cafes, nightlife venues, beautifully landscaped gardens and more – the island’s proximity to downtown Miami and South Beach is a priceless asset. Island Gardens will also provide a number of carefully cultivated attractions right in its own backyard, including a Maritime Gallery developed in partnership with the Historical Museum of Southern Florida and a fresh fish market and oyster bar that doubles as an architectural marvel.
