Inspirato Becomes Largest Destination Club. Welcomes 4,000th Member.
The club launched in early 2011 and has grown rapidly to become the largest luxury destination club. The recent partnership and name change to Inspirato with American Express has certainly helped with this growth.

The company has added over 1,000 new members in 2013 alone, and now manages and controls nearly $500 million in luxury real estate, offering members 262 travel options in 67 destinations around the globe.
"Our 4,000th member is a tremendous milestone for the company," said Brent Handler, founder and CEO of Inspirato. "Our club continues to grow at a formidable pace. We've seen our members, families and friends spend more than 38,000 nights in our properties since the founding of Inspirato in 2011 and have increased our total number of Signature Residences by over 300 percent. As we welcome new members, we look forward to continuing to expand our vacation portfolio and adding even more club benefits and privileges."
Inspirato leases its properties rather than owning them. As a result, members pay a relatively low initial fee. Members also enjoy personalized pre-trip vacation planning and on-site concierge services, and pay members-only nightly rates – often at significant savings – to vacation in exquisite homes. These residences average $3.6 million in value and are managed and controlled by Inspirato for exclusive use by its members.

"Inspirato is setting the standard for luxury travel experiences. Their unique business model gives members access to luxury without the many hassles that come with ownership," said Ted Schlein, general partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, one of the companies blue chip investors.
Inspirato offers private vacation homes, luxury hotel partners and adventure travel experiences in such leading destinations as Aspen, St. Barts, Nantucket, Sonoma, Los Cabos, Maldives, Tuscany, Maui and Provence.
Additionally, each member enjoys exclusive members-only benefits and privileges, including special access to vetted partner venues, such as high-end spas, golf clubs and children's clubs; discounted pricing with private air and luxury transportation services; and VIP treatment at elite events worldwide.
