Destination club Exclusive Resorts has recently expanded their Gateway travel card to members in the United States. Previously available only in Canada, Gateway is similar in structure to a jet card. The Gateway Card offers travelers the option to purchase from three to twenty-one travel days over a three-year period. The travel options include the entire portfolio of Exclusive Resorts' homes - over three hundred, multimillion-dollar homes with two to five bedrooms in seventy-five different destinations.
Pricing for the Gateway travel card works out to between $1550 - $1995 per residence per night. Premium upgrade packages are available for those guests looking for access to holiday dates. Access to Exclusive Resorts' custom excursions and experiences - Exclusive Journeys and Events - is another cardholder benefit. Trips to Kenya and Borneo, and VIP experiences at Milan Fashion Week and The Masters are among those excursions offered.
Like jet cards in the private aviation sector, Gateway cardholders are prepaying for guaranteed service and to lock in rates, without needing to make a long-term commitment to the club. It's a great option for those looking to try out and experience Exclusive Resorts' properties without committing to or investing in a full membership.
In addition to the Gateway travel card, Exclusive Resorts has also launched a Choice membership option. With the Choice membership, travelers that don’t want to commit to a 30-year membership can purchase a three to ten year membership. Nightly rates for each residence range from $1,430 to $1,817. According to Kristen Nolte, SVP of Marketing “Whether you’re committed to experiencing a lifetime of unforgettable vacations or simply seeking a quick weekend getaway, Exclusive Resorts now has a product to suit the tastes and budgets of all travelers and corporation.”
