Equity Euro Fund Expands Travel Opportunities with ThirdHome
The Equity Euro Fund has formed a partnership with ThirdHome, providing access to hundreds of vacation homes across Europe and thousands of vacation homes around the world. This relationship, which builds on a collaboration Equity Residences has maintained with ThirdHome for more than 10 years, significantly increases the number of vacation homes available to Equity Euro Fund investors.
Equity Euro Fund
The Equity Euro Fund enables investors to own a diversified portfolio of luxury vacation homes across Europe, for investment returns and personal use with family and friends. The portfolio of homes is currently being acquired and will be held for 10 to 12 years, after which the original investment plus profits will be distributed to investors. Investments start at €239,500 and include access to the ThirdHome network.
This fund recently made its first two additions of historic residences in Florence and Rome. Investors now have access to two of Europe’s most historically rich and culturally significant destinations. These luxury vacation homes mark an important milestone for the fund, expanding Equity Residences presence in cities long recognized for their art, architecture, and enduring global appeal.

Extending Access Across Europe
While the luxury vacation residences in Florence and Rome serve as cornerstone residences for the Equity Euro Fund, the partnership with ThirdHome broadens travel opportunities across the continent. Current listings on the ThirdHome platform indicate that the network includes approximately 1,754 homes across Europe, spanning a wide range of destinations from coastal enclaves to countryside estates and urban residences.
For investors, this expanded access provides the ability to travel beyond the fund’s owned portfolio while maintaining the privacy and space associated with private-home stays. Whether planning a multi-generational family trip, a seasonal getaway, or an extended stay abroad, the network offers additional flexibility in both location and timing.
Although the Euro Fund's focus remains Europe, the ThirdHome platform extends well beyond the region, offering access to thousands of homes worldwide. This global reach allows investors to explore destinations outside Europe while continuing to benefit from the same trusted network.
The partnership includes several unique benefits for Equity Residences investors, including the waiver of the one-time $2,500 initiation fee and exclusive upgraded membership offerings.
Equity Residences first partnered with ThirdHome more than a decade ago, incorporating the exchange platform into its ownership model to expand investors' travel options. The addition of the Equity Euro Fund to this partnership reflects the continued role ThirdHome plays in supporting the broader travel lifestyle associated with equity ownership. The fund targets destinations and homes that are attractive investments, while the partnership functions as a complement, offering additional destinations when schedules or interests call for greater variety. Euro Fund investors can transfer their usage credits to ThirdHome for planned vacations and take bonus trips on short notice with no credits required.
Over time, this layered approach has become an important feature for investors who view travel flexibility as a key component of long-term value.
Equity Residences Investor Perspective
Kelley W., an Equity Residences investor, enjoyed a stay in the Lake Garda region of northern Italy arranged through the ThirdHome network. Reflecting on the trip, he described it as one of the most memorable travel experiences his family has enjoyed in recent years, saying:
“My wife and I had a fabulous trip to the lake district of Italy in late August, early September of 2024. Through Equity Residences and ThirdHome, we stayed in a wonderfully situated apartment in Saló overlooking the town square and Lake Garda. We walked the lungolago every evening and dined in delightful restaurants each night, typically al fresco. Using Saló as our home base, we drove the entire beautiful perimeter of Lake Garda, exploring numerous towns along the way. We also ventured to Verona for the opera in their historic Roman amphitheatre one night. We concluded our trip with 2 nights in Venice. All-in-all a terrific and memorable vacation.”
As the Equity Euro Fund continues to grow, its structure is designed to balance ownership in carefully selected European cities with broader travel access across the region. The launch of historic homes in Florence and Rome established an initial footprint in two of Europe’s most iconic destinations. By extending the long-standing relationship with ThirdHome, the fund now connects those anchor locations to a wider network of residences across Europe and beyond.
For investors, the result is a more flexible and expansive travel platform. It allows time in core European cities while also creating opportunities to explore lesser-known regions, seasonal destinations, and new cultural settings, all within a single integrated network.
