PlaneSense Offers Financing for Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24 Fractional Ownership

The new financing program, underwritten by private credit firm KSD Capital, lets qualified individuals and businesses finance Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24 fractional shares with as little as 30% down.

PlaneSense is one of the largest fractional aircraft operators in North America, with a fleet of over 60 Pilatus aircraft. The company offers shares in both the 6-passenger PC-12 turboprop and the 8-passenger PC-24 light jet. Both aircraft have impressive short-runway performance, providing access to smaller airports, island airstrips, mountain communities, and hard-to-reach destinations. Share sizes start at 1/16th and, in addition to the initial purchase price, owners pay a monthly management fee, an occupied hourly fee and fuel fees for hours flown. PlaneSense owners can use their planes across the continental United States and Canada, Mexico, Central America and Caribbean islands, and can also use their hours to fly in Europe through a partnership with Jetfly.

Qualified buyers can finance up to 70% of their fractional share, aligning the loan term with their PlaneSense share term including an automatic two-year extension. They will benefit from a 15-year loan amortization schedule engineered for lower monthly rates, which are competitive and indexed to Prime.

The funds are provided by KSD Aviation, the aviation financing platform of KSD Capital, a private credit firm that has originated more than $5.5 billion in loans.

“Since 1995, we have focused on finding better, more intelligent ways to help individuals and businesses fly privately,” said George Antoniadis, President and CEO of PlaneSense, Inc. “For some prospective clients, financing can be an important part of the purchase decision. It allows them to preserve capital while still gaining access to the service and consistency of the PlaneSense experience.”

Aviation financing can be attractive when you want access to private travel while preserving liquidity for other priorities. It offers a structured monthly payment instead of a larger all-cash share purchase.

“We built this program around the PlaneSense fractional program, so the financing fits an owner’s purchase precisely,” said Will Davis, CEO of KSD Capital. “Whether a client is buying personally or through their business, they can finance against the fractional share itself and remain in a strong equity position throughout the term. That level of integration, backed by an institutional private credit platform, is what sets the program apart.”

If you're looking at fractional ownership from any provider, it's worth asking if they have any financing programs. From what we've seen, these can vary over time, but can be useful depending on your financial profile.
