Northern Jet Expands Offering With Heavy Jet Card

The private aviation company has added to its Private Advantage Card program with a new heavy jet option, aimed at clients seeking greater cabin space and longer-range capability. In addition, the company just added a Gulfstream G550, its first ultra-long-range aircraft.

Heavy Jet Card

The new heavy jet card gives clients prepaid access to Northern Jet's heavy jet category, featuring the Bombardier Challenger 600 series, including the Challenger 604, 605, and 650, at a standard rate of $13,000 per occupied hour.

Challenger 600 series offers seating for up to 12 passengers and a range of up to 4,100nm, or 8 hours of flight time. The planes provide the range and cabin space often preferred for coast-to-coast missions and select international travel, where additional room can make time in the air feel more productive, comfortable, and relaxed. The company recently expanded its Challenger 600 series aircraft with three additions.

Each heavy jet flight also includes a professional cabin attendant service who supports both safety and service in the cabin, assisting with passenger needs, cabin preparation, catering coordination, and thoughtful service details.

"The Heavy Jet Card is an important expansion of our Private Advantage Card program and reflects the way our clients continue to travel," said Chris Bull, CEO of Northern Jet. "For clients planning longer trips, flying with larger groups, or looking for more cabin space, this card creates a direct path to the capability of our heavy jet fleet while maintaining the personal service, safety standards, and attention to detail they expect from Northern Jet."

Northern Jet also offers jet cards in light, midsize, and super-midsize jets. Cardholders can request aircraft from the Northern Jet fleet based on their trip profile and availability. For flights better suited to light, midsize, or super-midsize aircraft, hours can be applied at the applicable program conversion rate, giving clients the flexibility to match each trip with the aircraft best suited for the mission.

Gulfstream G550 Addition

The addition of an ultra-long-range Gulfstream G550 marks the arrival of the company's largest jet to date, with a range of approximately 6,500 nautical miles and seating for up to 14 passengers. The aircraft is equipped with Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi, providing fast, reliable connectivity throughout the flight.

"The Gulfstream G550 marks an exciting new chapter for Northern Jet," said Chris Bull, CEO of Northern Jet. "It meaningfully expands what we can offer our clients.“

The G550 features a spacious, stand-up cabin with multiple living areas designed to support productivity, dining, relaxation, and rest throughout longer flights.
