Northern Jet Adds Challengers, Earns Wyvern Wingman PRO
Northern Jet has expanded its heavy jet fleet with the addition of two Bombardier Challenger 604s and a Bombardier Challenger 650 aircraft. It has also earned the Wyvern Wingman PRO certification.
Bombardier Challenger 650
The 2026 Challenger 650 has seating for up to 12 passengers and the capability to travel approximately 4,000 nautical miles, allowing it to support a wide variety of missions, including coast-to-coast travel and select international routes. With the Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi, passengers can stay in touch with the office, join video calls, stream, share files, or simply enjoy uninterrupted digital access while in flight.
“Adding the Challenger 650 reflects our continued focus on offering aircraft that combine performance, connectivity, and comfort for today’s private aviation traveler,” said Chris Bull, CEO of Northern Jet. “This aircraft strengthens our fleet with a proven large-cabin platform and introduces advanced connectivity that allows our clients to remain productive and engaged throughout their journey.”

The two Challenger 604 aircraft offer seating configurations ranging from 9 to 12 passengers, and both aircraft are equipped with Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi. They have a maximum range of about 3,800nm or up to 7.5 hours of continuous flight.
“These aircraft give our clients more options for longer trips, larger groups, and comfortable private travel. As demand grows for flexible access to heavy jet aircraft, we are focused on building a fleet that delivers performance, consistency, and a high level of service.” said Chris Bull, CEO of Northern Jet
Wyvern Wingman PRO
The company recently earned Wyvern Wingman PRO certification through Wyvern’s Flight Leader Program. Wingman PRO status represents an elevated level of operational validation and reflects sustained engagement in ongoing third-party safety oversight and performance review.
“Safety is embedded in every aspect of how we operate,” said Chris Bull, Chief Executive Officer of Northern Jet. “Achieving Wyvern Wingman PRO certification reflects our SMS Level 4 status, the discipline of our team, and the consistency of our safety standards. These recognitions reinforce our commitment to delivering a private aviation experience defined by precision, accountability, and care at every stage of flight.”
SMS Level 4 represents a mature stage of Safety Management System (SMS) implementation in which all required SMS processes are in place and actively monitored. At this level, organizations focus on continuous oversight and ongoing refinement of operational and safety processes, supporting continuous improvement across the operation. Northern Jet’s achievement reflects a fully integrated safety framework built to support proactive risk management and operational excellence.
“Wingman PRO designation is the culmination of a lot of work throughout the company,” said Tim Reeve, Director of Safety at Northern Jet. “We’re honored by this recognition, but we know safety isn’t a destination, it’s a daily practice. Every milestone reminds us to stay vigilant and keep moving forward, one improvement at a time.”
Wyvern Wingman Certification and Wingman PRO status are recognized across the private aviation industry as leading benchmarks for safety performance, SMS maturity, and independent operational validation.
Northern Jet is also an ARGUS Platinum operator and provides jet and helicopter charters, jet card memberships, fractional ownership, and turnkey aircraft management.
