Airshare Offers Bonus Days on Challenger 3500

Airshare, a growing private aviation company, has announced a new promotion for customers interested in its fractional ownership and EMBARK jet card programs. The promotion applies to the Challenger 3500, offering 20% in bonus flight usage during a customer’s first year.

This means that new fractional share owners purchasing a 1/16th share will receive an additional four flight days, while new EMBARK jet card holders will enjoy two extra flight days. As an added incentive, Airshare is honoring 2023 pricing for those purchasing a Challenger 3500 fractional share or jet card.

The company, which has steadily expanded its reach and fleet, continues to build on its unique day-based model, offering customers predictable costs and superior service.

Airshare’s Growth and Evolution

Founded in 2000, Airshare has grown from a regional operator into a nationally recognized provider of private aviation solutions. Initially focused on the Midwest and South-Central U.S., the company has expanded across the country and now covers the whole of the US and flys internationally.

A pivotal moment in Airshare’s evolution was the addition of the Challenger 350 to its fleet in 2021, which has evolved into the 3500. This super mid-sized business jet is the most popular in its category and is known for its range, comfort, and performance. The introduction of the Challenger fleet helped Airshare appeal to customers needing longer-range flights and additional cabin space, complementing its existing Phenom 300-based program.

“We were surprised by the adoption rate among current customers,” said Dylan Haynie, Chief Revenue Officer at Airshare, adding, “once they saw the size, space and luxury of the Challenger we quickly converted about three airplanes worth of customers to the larger plane.”

Fractional Ownership and Jet Cards: A Day-Based Approach

Unlike many private aviation programs that operate on an hourly model, Airshare distinguishes itself with its day-based approach to flying. This means that both fractional share owners and jet card holders buy days of use and have access to the aircraft for a full day.

With the Challenger 3500 promotion, new fractional owners get an additional four days in their first year. Likewise, EMBARK jet card holders, who already benefit from the program’s day-based structure, will receive two extra days as part of the offer. The ability to maximize aircraft usage throughout an entire day is a key reason customers choose Airshare, as it allows for multiple stops and enhanced scheduling efficiency.

“The day-based model works really well if you fly more than 2.5 hours a day,” Dylan Haynie told SherpaReport and noted that even in their Phenom 300 program they have customers flying 5 hours a day.

Airshare’s Challenger 3500

The Challenger 3500 represents a new era of private travel for Airshare customers. With a range of 3,400 nautical miles, it is well-suited for coast-to-coast flights and international travel. It features a spacious, quiet cabin, cutting-edge technology, seating for up to 9 passengers and improved fuel efficiency. By including this aircraft in its fleet, Airshare has significantly strengthened its value proposition to both business and leisure travelers, with the Challenger flying all over the USA, to Europe, Costa Rica, the Caribbean and Hawaii.

“We are excited, now it has opened up new markets on the East Coast and West Coast and we’ve seen demand from both coasts,” said Dylan Haynie, emphasizing “On both coasts our model shines.”

He gave the example of someone flying coast-to-coast, which can be a six-hour flight. If they are a 1/16th share owner, with 20 days of use each year, they can do this trip on all 20 of their days, which would be 120 hours of flying in a 1/16th share. That’s certainly a lot more than the typical 50 annual hours that 1/16th buys in the hourly based programs.
