While some parts of the Big Island get a lot of rain, here the sun shines year round. It's always a good time to golf, sail, fish, scuba or snorkel. Or to hike the ancient King's Trail once used by Hawaiian royalty and visit ruins of ancient temples from those times. Elsewhere on the island, you can explore dense rain forests, rolling ranch lands and five volcanoes.
