The Inn at Silver Lake is a great summer destination. The Inn's location is ideal for a summer trip. Ironwood is beautiful and very large but it is very removed from the lifts and stores that are open during the summer. We have 4 boys aged 12 to 6 and they all loved Deer Valley. We rented a ski boat on the Jordanelle Reservoir and went tubing which was a blast for the whole family. My oldest son and I went mountain biking one day which was the highlight of the trip for both of us. Mountain biking in Deer Valley is not for really young kids or anyone who is not interested in a very exciting but strenuous workout. There are no easy ways to get down the mountain on a bike so be prepared. Hiking the trails in front of the Inn was really beautiful and great exercise for the whole family. Anyone interested in seeing nature would love this trip.
