We went to the new Dominican Republic house shortly after it opened. Great house. 4 bedroom/4 bathroom suites, each with LCD/DVD systems, most with sitting areas, incredible kitchen and dining room, vaulted ceilings in most rooms, pool house with a huge pool, on the golf course, two golf carts, water features, on-site destination host, housekeeper, groundskeeper, situated in the gated Punta Cana development next to Cap Cana, access to the private club amenities of Punta Cana, and amazing Six Senses spa (best treatments we've ever had at a spa).
The house is stocked - more kitchen utensils and appliances than home, movies, video games, pool toys, computer, high speed internet, Vonage phones for free long distance to the U.S., etc.
The location is also great. Punta Cana has direct jet service from many east coast destinations, so it's an easy trip with the family. Since the airport is in the resort, it's only about 5 minutes to the Crescendo house. The best thing is that as you exit the plane, a private concierge greets you and takes you directly through customs and entry checkpoints without any waits. We've had to wait in Carribean customs lines for hours before, but not Crescendo guests. It only took about 15 minutes from landing to being at the house.
