M Private Residences Now Has Over 100 Members
Another destination club has now passed the 100 member mark, with M Private Residences just reaching this number in February. The clubs 100 shareholders have completed over 500 trips and according to Ken McLean the CEO are using the properties for an average of 42 days annually.
M Private Residences is an equity destination club which offers it's members usage of luxury homes with average values of US$1.7 - 2.5m. The clubs 14 properties are spread throughout North America, the Caribbean and Europe. The picture to the right shows one of their Cabo San Lucas villas. The companies share structure means members participate in the appreciation of properties and have asset backing for their initial purchase fee.
As with other destination clubs the M Private Residence homes are luxuriously appointed with high end kitchen appliances, a fully fitted home office and a selection of sports equipment. Plus the club provides it's members with a full range of services to assist with travel arrangements and on vacation activities.
A club with a similar type of structure but a European focus is The Hideaways Club which launched in January 2007.
