Luxury destination club Distinctive Holiday Homes is offering a special upgrade offer during October. New members will receive either a complimentary one membership plan upgrade, or a complimentary 7 night stay with a pre-paid membership card.

Distinctive is one of the most global destination clubs with 10 homes and 2 yachts spread across 3 continents. Potential members can choose from 6 individual membership plans and 4 corporate membership plans, and just two months ago the club introduced pre-paid membership cards offering 2 weeks, 3 weeks and 4 weeks of vacations.

The upgrade offer is for new members who join before October 31st and consists of:

1. For Pre-paid Membership Cards, members receive a bonus 7 vacation day credit for any Distinctive land based property. The club says this is a US$10,000 savings.
2. For Personal Membership Plans, members receive a complimentary upgrade to the next plan level for the Standard (14 night) through Platinum (35 night) plans. A saving of US$33,000-$66,000.
3. For Corporate Membership Plans, members receive a complimentary upgrade to the next plan level for the Premium (14 night) to Platinum (35 night) plans . A saving of US$22,000-$77,000.

The personal and corporate plan upgrades consist of waived upgrade joining fees, for example members could join at the 21 night Premium individual plan but only pay the initial membership fee for the Standard 14 night plan. In the first year the member would also receive complimentary annual dues on the upgrade week, and so in the example above would pay the annual dues for the 14 night Standard plan while enjoying the 21 nights of the Premium plan.
