SherpaReport educates consumers with its in-depth coverage and reports on the luxury destination club, private residence club and private jet markets. It provides both news and analysis to help guide people with their luxury purchasing decisions.

Our editors and analysts spend a lot of time researching these markets. We interview the senior executives at the companies we cover, and we also talk to members in these companies and owners of the products they offer, as well as prospective members and owners. We then share all this knowledge through our written reports and editorial commentary.

The company was founded by Senior Analyst and Editor, Nick Copley, an online media and publishing executive.

The name SherpaReport comes from the Sherpas in the Himalayas, who are greatly admired for their expertise as guides to some of the worlds most remote and yet exotic places. The most famous Sherpa was Tenzing Norgay, who in 1953 together with Sir Edmund Hilary, were the first people to climb Mount Everest.
